The Charity for Civil Servants offer an umbrella of support for current, former or retired civil servants and their dependents. This includes financial assistance, support with wellbeing, caring and money advise.

If you’re facing unexpected costs that you’re struggling to cover or facing financial hardship, we may be able to help you.

Whatever your situation, our friendly team are here to listen without judgement and will do all they can to help you directly or signpost you to organisations that can help you reach the next step. We look at applications on a case-by-case basis and may be able to pay towards things like food vouchers, household bills and the cost of essential household essentials. Get more information on what we can and can not help with.

Although we’re not able to cover ongoing financial difficulties, we can also offer our Money Advice Service for advice on budgeting. Our team of qualified advisors will talk to you about solutions tailored to you.

We are your Charity and we want to hear from you to see how we can best support you.

Stephanie's story
We supported Stephanie when she was struggling

I felt like the rug had been pulled from under my feet and the help from the Charity came at a time when I really needed it. The financial and emotional support meant that I could keep going.
